Roll Thru- Cardboard sculptures by Ryan Cho.

Now that skateboarding has become assimilated in to mainstream society (as seen through various reality TV shows and the inclusion of skating in the 2020 Olympics), it is no longer considered an outsider activity. “Roll Thru” is a moment frozen in time, before all of this. It serves as a reflection of the skateboarding subculture that I observed, growing up in the late 1990s - 2000s.
